WORK, VOLUNTEER AND EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE
THE
JOURNEY
Moniteq, Inc.
Queenstown, MD, July 2010-Present

I have been a part of the team at Moniteq, Inc. (DBA EnviroCleanse Systems) since 2010. My responsibilities have grown and evolved over the years. I have gained valuable experience in production, marketing, clerical work, and management. At a small business, my responsibilities are extensive and varied. I have designed two websites, moniteq.com and envirocleansesystems.com. I manage a Facebook and LinkedIn page for both companies as well as an Instagram page for EnviroCleanse Systems.
Hershey Entertainment & Resorts
Hershey, PA, May-September 2015

In the summer of 2015, I interned at Hershey Lodge as Recreation Supervisor. I gained valuable management experience supervising activities attendants and lifeguards. I became first aid and lifeguard certified. I enjoyed dressing as Hershey product characters and interacting with families on a daily basis. It was an extremely rewarding experience allowing me to connect with my coworkers and guests.
Thomas/Neel Wedding
Cylburn Arboretum, Baltimore, MD, October 2014

In the fall of 2014, I event-day coordinated a wedding. It was a great experience and I learned a lot!
I met with the bride and her parents before the wedding, then carried out their plan on the big day. I ensured the schedule was followed and stepped in where I was needed. I learned the most when making the last minute decisions and modifications with the vendors.
Various
Volunteer Experiences

I have done various volunteer work throughout my life. From 2009-2018, I volunteered for a week-long food drive before Thanksgiving called Feed-a-Family. I have also participated in the planning and organizing of a wedding for a family friend, a UMES campus event called Street Sweep and fundraising events for a local nonprofit organization called Cancer Comfort Angels. I also volunteered at elementary schools for approximately 10 years.
